* Is the fourth of six children. Had five siblings: Lisa, David (who is a well-known humourist), Gretchen, Tiffany (who died by suicide in 2013), and Paul.
* Performed with Second City’s touring company, which was where she met Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert whom she subsequently often collaborated with.
* Gained some recognition after starring in the comedy series Exit 57 (1995 – 1996) and Strangers with Candy (1999 – 2000).
* Has since appeared in series like The Heart, She Holler (2013 – 2014), BoJack Horseman (2014 – 2020), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (2015 – 2020), At Home with Amy Sedaris (2017 – 2020), and The Mandalorian (2019 – 2023), and The Book of Boba Fett (2022), as well as films including Bewitched (2005), Chicken Little (2005), Strangers with Candy (2005), Ghost Team (2016), and Handsome (2017).
* Has also written books, including I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence (2006) and Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People! (2010).
