Fox) – biographical drama, based on the book Chasin’ Freedum by Quawntay Adams; a man (Joseph), sentenced to 35 years for attempted possession of marijuana, escapes with the help of a woman from a lonely-hearts ad.

* Born on 2 February 1977 in Barranquilla, Colombia.
* Is an only child. Has eight older paternal half-siblings.
*Is of Spanish and Lebanese descent.
* Started writing poetry as a child, and developed an interest in music and dance at a young age.
* Released her debut album, Magia, in 1991.
* Gained success in Latin American countries with some of her subsequent albums, before gaining international fame upon transitioning to English and releasing the single ‘Whenever, Wherever’ from her fifth album Laundry Service (2001).
* Has since become one of the most influential Latin artists in the world.
