Fans of The Graduate will relate to this in an instant because, in a twist of fate, Pakistan’s entertainment circuit is having a Mrs Robinson moment of its own. We first saw Jamshed (Adeel Hussain) trying to woo an older Michelle (Marina Khan) in Jackson Heights and now you can expect some older-woman obsession in Ho Mann Jahaan too. It’s more than obvious from trailers of the film that Sheheryar Munawar has been paired with Sonya Jehan and in a recent, very casual interview with Instep the actor admitted that there was nothing surprising about that because every man had an older-woman crush (or two) in life).

It turns out that the boys – that would be the two leading men Sheheryar and Adeel – did have their ‘man-crush-moments’ when a stunning Sonya Jehan walked on to the sets for the first time. Looking better than she has in years, Sonya is in Pakistan these days and she shared fun moments from the shooting. It turns out that someone or the other, from both cast and crew, would always be lurking and hovering around this half-French/half-Punjabi beauty, completely besotted. This is Sonya Jehan’s first Pakistani film and we’re sure her gorgeousness will blow the public away too!
