Adele, the singer-songwriter from Tottenham, is generating enormous hype as details emerge about her long-awaited new album, 25. It’s her first new record since sweeping the Grammys back in 2012.

After collaborating with Paul Epworth, which also led to the James Bond film title song, ‘Skyfall’, Adele is recording the new album with British producer and music sensation, Mark Ronson, who previously contributed to the singer’s debut album, 19.

Ronson, who is famed for his musical contribution on Amy Winehouse’s terrific album, Back to Black. Aware that a comparison is inevitable, Mark Ronson, whose track, ‘Uptown Funk’ with Bruno Mars, is one of the biggest hits of the previous year, has made it clear that he is not looking for another Amy when working with Adele. “I’m looking for someone who has their own name.”

For the new record, Adele is rumoured to have collaborated with several famed music names including Ronson, but reports suggest that none of them are aware about the album’s release and final sound.

Mark Ronson confirmed the secretive ways of the popular singer and said in an interview: “Maybe they don’t like to say in case I jinx it and end up getting fired before it comes out.”

In more news on the Adele comeback, several stories suggest that artists are clearing the path as Adele’s album drops later next month. “Adele is coming and it’s very likely to be an epic release,” an insider is quoted in Britain’s The Sun newspaper.

“The major labels have realised it’s essential they get out any big releases before then because from November 20, it’s very likely to be about one woman only. She will dominate pre-Christmas sales. That’s why Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue and One Direction are going head-to-head the week before - usually the record companies would want a No1 album with artists that big but in this case they simply want to get the album out there before Adele.

It’s still possible there might be a surprise release from Coldplay or Beyoncé who would be confident to put music out at any time of the year,” the insider added. “But Emeli Sandé and Michael Bublé, who share the same market as Adele, are both delayed into next year for certain.”
