Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the voice behind many beautiful songs on both sides of the border, has returned to India after a gap of four years. His album, Back to Love, has been doing very well in India and is the highest selling non-film album across the country.
Talking about his experience of returning to India, the singer said, “It has always been a pleasure to come back to my second home which has given me so much love, warmth and success. Four years plus is a very long time and I am happy that I have addressed some pending legal matters with the relevant authority and excited to have my second innings with the industry where I have several friends and will be great to connect with them.”

Salman Ahmed, who played an integral role in producing the Back 2 Love album, stated, “Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is keen to continue his successful journey with Bollywood and is looking forward to working with his friends in the Indian film industry on bigger and more exciting projects.”

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan appeared in the last season of Coke Studio but it’s his Bollywood work that has made such a commercial success. His forway Bollywood has led to some brilliant tunes like ‘Dil To Bacha Hai Ji’ from Ishqiya, ‘O Re Piya’ from Aaja Nachle, ‘Tere Mast Mast’ from Dabangg and ‘Sajda’ from My Name is Khan. So here’s hoping Rahat’s return to India leads to more cross-border collaborations.

Deepika Padukone on her relationship with SRK

Deepika Padukone, one of the top actors in Hindi cinema today, would like everyone to know that nothing can ever change her equation with one Shah Rukh Khan. The retort from Deepika has more to do with a certain social media controversy than anything else. It’s common knowledge that Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh starrer Bajirao Mastani will release on the same day as Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, in the lead.

Deepika took to Instagram and posted the first look of her upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali film on the picture-sharing site along with the hastag ‘ChallengeAccepted’. The Piku actress later deleted the hashtag but the damage was already done. According to various stories online, Shah Rukh Khan, as a result, was not too happy with Deepika. When asked, Deepika squashed the whole thing and said, “I find it really amazing that some picture of my film with a certain hashtag...it’s amazing that some connection is found to some completely different film and it is blown out of proportion. I don’t think any of these articles will ever come in my way on my equation with Shah Rukh.”

According to the actress, Shah Rukh Khan congratulated her on opening a foundation to promote mental health awareness. “What he and I share is known to us and it is very special. Ironically, when you all were reading this article, he was messaging and congratulating me about my foundation. He was one of the first people I spoke to while I was thinking about it. He has always been encouraging and supportive.”

Asked about clashing with Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale on the box office, Deepika said, “I am just an actor. I am neither the producer nor director to say anything. I have no business sense and I have no idea whether it is good or bad for the film.”
