Surely these fashion weeks showcase fabulous beauty trends and stunning styles on the ramp that are trendy and to die for.

Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week S/S 2015 turned out to be a rip-roaring success. From the Get Go TFPW was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride through the fashion boulevard - a complete tour of the current fashion trends in all its entirety. The objective of Fashion Pakistan Week is to promote the Pakistan fashion industry both locally and internationally and also to make inroads in the international market. The four-day event was attended by the showbiz fraternity, socialites, international buyers, fashionistas and retailers.

Celebrating 100 years:
The audience was treated to captivating make-up looks and hair dos showcasing varying styles and trends. Credit for the beautifully dolled up models goes to renowned beauty brand Maybelline New York that has been around for the last ten decades now. Continuing its 100 years celebrations, Maybelline collaborated with Fashion Pakistan Week S/S 2015 as the platform’s official make-up partner. While Nabila and her team at N-Pro did a fabulous job of coiffuring the hair which proved to be a fun factor at TFPW.

To celebrate the 100 years of the beauty brand, N-Pro conjured 10 unique looks drawing inspiration from specific eras from the last ten decades. The looks had been conjured to complement the collections of the respective participating designers and brands at TFPW including Nida Azwer, designers of the Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Show, Lala Textiles, Sania Maskatiya, Fnkasia, Hand made by Madiha Raza, Sadaf Malaterre, Amir Adnan, Sanam Chaudhri, Jafferjees, Abdul Samad, Zaheer Abbas, Caanchi & Lugari presents Bugatti, Gul Ahmed, Fahad Hussayn, Body Focus Museum, Levi’s, Somal Halepoto, YBQ, Wardha Saleem, Sania Maskatiya for Alkaram, Inaaya, HSY, Sonya Battla, Fifth Element Swarovski by Rizwanullah, Daaman, Zara Shahjahan, Deepak Perwani, Aamna Aqeel and Shamaeel Ansari.

Go glam:
The looks created defined trends from different eras. For instance ‘Fire Glamour’ represented the 1920s; the iconic looks of the ‘20s have been repeated over and over in the years since then as these classic beauty looks are fun to recreate. Bobbed hair with finger waves was extremely popular in the 1920s which were seen on the ramp on longer hair paired with dark lips and kholed eyes.

Femininity factor:
‘Siren in Rouge’ depicted the 1930s, a time when makeup was less severe and soft feminine curls replaced the sharp boyish cut.

Bold & beautiful:
‘Pinup Glamour’ showcased the vintage beauty of the 1940s depicting red lips, the hallmark of ‘40s and soft curls either pulled back or framing the face, a look that had been created for YBQ’s presentation.

Pink power:
‘Bombshell Glamour’ was the stylist’s take on 1950s - an age of glamour! Pastels ruled in this decade. Pinks, purple-reds, peach and orange-reds took centre stage in the early 1950s. Pink was the colour of the decade. Audrey Hepburn once claimed that she ‘believed in pink’. Hence, the models strutted the ramp flaunting dewy fresh pink lips and flushed cheeks, a look created for Soomal Halepoto and Body Focus’ segments.

Classy yet elegant:
‘Mod Rocker’ was the theme for 1960s. The classic cat-eye flick and brilliant beehive was the rage in the ‘60s that have never really gone out of fashion. A look that had been beautifully emulated during the fashion week. Totally chic, with a hint of au natural, these beauty hallmarks have stood the test of time.

Avant punk:
Nabila’s take on the ‘70s was interpreted as ‘Disco Diva’, a decade of super glam mode with the flower power giving way to the smokey eye look bordering on avant punk.

Electric era:
And then the audience were treated to the 1980’s ‘Electric Raver’- an era determined by bold eyes, red cheeks and big hair teased and off-to-one-side-do.

Retro chic:
1990’s retro beauty trend was recreated at TFPW as Au Natural Wonder - from retro blow-outs to grunge-inspired make-up we saw it all.

Beauty mash-up:
And finally the 2000’s Socialite and the Future Fearless Women were sent down the runway, transcending the boundaries of traditional fashion aesthetics while chartering new avenues of style and chic. 2000 has been a mash-up really in the beauty domain. From the no-makeup look to the over-the-top eyelash craze, sexy beach waves and the bob cut craze this era has explored style and fashion to the fullest.

Nabila too explored all hair and make-up possibilities for her challenging hair and beauty looks for Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week 2015 and came out a winner with a flawless presentation.

Hair affair:
The stylist had worked up soft curls, twisties, braids, mermaid waves and in some cases beehives or a bun with eye-catching beads, headbands, chains and other such hair accessories.
