After Karachi Se Lahore, Lahore Se Aagey and Chhalawa, director-producer Wajahat Rauf is gearing up for his fourth film this year. Titled Parde Mein Rehne Do, the film will see Ali Rehman Khan and Hania Aamir playing the lead roles, while it is expected to release later this year.
Instep reached out to Wajahat Rauf for confirmation and details on the film that recently went on floors.
“Parde Mein Rehne Do is about a social issue dealt with in a light comedy,” he informed, adding that the film will release within the next six months hopefully.
Speaking of signing on for the film, Ali Rehman Khan, who has two recent popular drama serials – Khaas and Bewafa ¬– to his name, shared with Instep, “I am very excited to bring this to the big screen.”
Produced by Wajahat Rauf, Shazia Wajahat and Zayed Sheikh, Parde Mein Rehne Do will also feature veteran actor Jawed Sheikh in a prominent role.
