After announcing a thrilling line-up of live music shows in February including the upcoming Strings-Shamoon Ismail gig, Salt Arts has unveiled what they have in store for March.
And it’s a show featuring Ali Sethi, which will take place on the 1st of March at the Avari Towers (Hotel) poolside. Doors will open at 7: 30 pm sharp with the show scheduled to go on from 8:30 pm to 10: 30 pm. The dress code is red so follow the instructions and you may get to see Ali Sethi live.
A child of multiculturalism and modern master of ghazals and eastern music, Ali Sethi is having a great run in the last couple of months, in particular.
In 2019, he did playback singing as well as appeared on Coke Studio 12, with two performances, which allowed him the opportunity to work with music producer Rohail Hyatt for the first time.
He also started working with Grammy Award winning music producer of Narcos – the hit Netflix series – Noah Georgeson. Between then and now, Ali Sethi has released five songs (with Noah) that have pulled him out of his comfort zone. He has also released five music videos beginning with ‘Chandni Raat’ which was followed by (in no particular order) ‘Ishq’, ‘Dil Laagayein’, ‘Dil Ki Khair’ and ‘Khabar-e-Tahayyur-e-Ishq’. All songs have been worked upon with Noah and showcase the other side of Ali Sethi. He is growing from vocalist to songwriter, composer and lyricist. Head to (Salt Arts) Instagram handle for more information on the gig.
