Karachiite Sona Rafiq can already be spotted gracing billboards and partnering with brands to bring her own special style and pizzazz to them. Rafiq’s Instagram is a veritable master-class on trendy dressing. Her styling tutorials, where she showcases how to wear one item in multiple ways, and quirky collection of accessories are not only inspirational but can also help you figure out your own style. What we adore most about Sona is her million watt smile. She isn’t afraid of posing happily and there’s something infectious about her laughter. Her gorgeous pets that feature heavily on her feed and stories are a bonus! Is Sona Rafiq our latest girl crush? Yes she is!
Anushka Qizilbash
Fresh faced, young and hip, Anushka Qizilbash isn’t just a model. She graduated from the acclaimed Parsons School of Design in New York with a focus on photography. It’s no surprise that Qizilbash is a natural in front of the camera, given her mother and aunts have all been models in their day. In fact Anushka is the niece of the beloved host Anoushey Ashraf. However, just because she comes from a well-known family, in the entertainment world doesn’t mean that Qizilbash hasn’t made it on her own merit. Her unassuming demeanor, open, friendly smile and work ethic have already made this young girl a star. We can only imagine her going from strength to strength.
Meher Hassan
Tall, statuesque and effervescent, Meher Hassan is a Lums Literature graduate and is already serving looks worthy of an established model. Her dusky complexion that glows as if lit from within is complemented by a sultry sensuality that makes her perfect model material. We love the fact that she experiments regularly with her makeup and also has super fun beauty tutorials that make her flawless makeup skills look easy. Hassan also has interest in astrology and will often host questions on Instagram where she doles out life and relationship advice based on it. All in all, we just adore her vibe, her pitbull Ricky and her charming wit.
Maham Iqbal Bosan
Maham Iqbal Bosan is one half of a photography duo with her husband Haseeb Sultan. She is not only an editorial photographer to watch out for but also excels in wedding photography, a field traditionally dominated by men. She manages to encapsulate not only the moment but also the feeling at that moment in her photographs, making you smile with each joyous shot. Her clean, sharp images and control over lighting definitely sets her apart.
Natasha Zubair
It’s a shame this green eyed beauty chose life behind the camera when she could’ve equally easily been stunning in front of it. Lahore-based Natasha Zubair is a recent graduate but that hasn’t stopped this young powerhouse from already making a mark in the fashion world. Her unique eye, nostalgic colour grading and whimsical style makes it easy to spot her work in a milieu online. Having recently shot for Omar Farooq of Republic with the handsome Hasnain Lehri, Natasha is on her way to joining the big league.
