Junaid Khan’s debut film opposite Mansha Pasha looks intriguing and is scheduled to release this March.
The first official teaser of the forthcoming film Kahay Dil Jidhar, that stars features Mansha Pasha alongside singer and actor Junaid Khan, has been unveiled.
The film marks Junaid Khan’s debut entry in a central role – minus the cameo he made in Mahira Khan-Humayun Saeed starrer Bin Roye.
For his co-star in the film, Mansha Pasha, it’s her third big screen role. She last appeared in Kamal Khan’s critically acclaimed film Laal Kabootar (2019) alongside Ahmed Ali Akbar.
As for the film itself, in the teaser we see glimpses of Mansha Pasha as a fierce journalist and news anchor, willing to go to any extent to expose powerful people and create a positive impact on society.
On the other hand, Junaid Khan is seen essaying the role of Sheheryar, a valiant policeman.
In the almost one-minute teaser we hear Junaid Khan echoing an optimistic message as he says I can already see change coming. His character also encourages Mansha about how she will change the face of journalism.
Kahay Dil Jidhar is said to be a story of friendship, life transformation and self discovery. Both Mansha and Junaid make for the highlight in the first teaser.
By the looks of it, Kahay Dil Jidhar tells the story of four friends whose lives intertwine after they choose their respective career paths.
Besides Junaid Khan and Mansha Pasha, the film also features veteran actor Sajid Hassan, who seems to be essaying the role of a politician and actress and entrepreneur Atiqa Odho possibly enacting a member of the paramilitary force.
Moreover, the film is introducing two new faces; model turned actress Roma Michael and Noman Bari.
Helmed by Jalal Rumi, the film is produced under the banner of Wijdaan Films and is slated to release in March 2020.
