One of the drama serials expected to air in the first quarter of 2020 is Yumna Zaidi and Bilal Abbas Khan starrer Pyar Ke Sadqay. The first teaser of the upcoming drama recently came out, featuring the two in completely different roles than they have played in the past.
The first look teaser of Pyar Ke Sadqay features Bilal and Yumna as Abdullah and Mahjabeen, a young couple in love, dancing together. First, the clumsy Mahjabeen hits him by mistake and later she topples him over, annoying the innocent Abdullah.
Directed by Farooq Rind and penned by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, it is a love story that is rarely seen on the small screen. It has romance, comedy and drama and is likely to offer a break from intense, tragic drama serials presently on-air.
In an earlier interview with Instep, Yumna shared that she hopes viewers will like the chemistry between her and Bilal in the serial that has subtle themes unlike her previous works such as Inkaar and Ishq Zah e Naseeb.
Bilal, too, played an anti-hero in his last project, Cheekh, which is in sharp contrast to his upcoming role in Pyar Ke Sadqay.
Aside from Yumna and Bilal, Pyar Ke Sadqay features veteran actors like Atiqa Odho, as well as Omair Rana and others in important roles.
