Living up to the promise made at the launch party earlier this year, Acoustic Station, a subsidiary of Kashan Admani’s Dream Station Productions, is regularly releasing live music featuring several names.
Speaking at the launch, Kashan said, “I am happy to be able to offer a facility that will enhance the quality of sound and production in our film and music industry!”
Among those they have released is Kashmir but instead of replacing Kashmir members, Acoustic Station has added guest musician Alex Shahbaz on trumpet, who is also the assistant music producer. Meanwhile, Vais Khan, who shreds the guitar and is lead guitarist for the band, also plays 12-string guitar during the episode. The song is one of Kashmir’s oldest numbers and they performed it on the second season of Pepsi Battle of the Bands.
While speaking of Kashmir, the band is working on getting its debut album out and showcase what to expect from their second album as well. Whether they manage it this year seems unlikely. But never say never!
