Adnan Siddiqui is attracting a lot of attention for the role of Shehwar in Mere Paas Tum Ho; he is also playing the role of Sajal Aly’s father in Yeh Dil Mera. He has also been producing multiple drama serials under his banner, Cereal Entertainment. The actor-producer has finally decided to venture into films as a producer with Dam Mastam, which is being directed by Mohammad Ehteshamuddin, who made his debut as director with Superstar earlier this year.
Dam Mastam stars Imran Ashraf and Amar Khan in lead roles while the script is also penned by Amar. Speaking of producing the film, Adnan Siddiqui told Instep that the major reason he agreed was the beautiful script written by Amar.
“Amar and I worked on the script for over three years,” he informed, adding, “The film has masala, music, drama, comedy as well as tragedy. It is an indie-commercial film.”
Siddiqui also informed that the film is presently being shot in Lahore; half of it will be shot in interior Lahore while the remaining half will be shot in Karachi. The music is being done by Adnan Sami, Bilal Saeed and Shuja Haider while Arshad Shani is taking care of composition.
Aside from Amar and Imran, the film also features Saleem Meraj, Tipu Shah and others.
