As 2020 gets closer, music initiatives will continue to take place. Among them is guitarist and music producer’s Kashan Admani’s Dream Station Productions that has launched Acoustic Station. The latter is a web series based on live and unplugged music that is recorded and created under the label of the production house and made in the studio. With the first episode scheduled to release this month, Acoustic Station will consist of 14 episodes in total and according to a press statement will feature “renowned and budding musicians”. The platform will showcase original music with an inclination towards jazz and blues.

Speaking on the occasion, Kashan Admani notes, “The idea is to give the listener a quality recording of the acoustic instruments and sounds with interesting arrangements. Since Dream Station Productions is the only acoustically perfect studio facility in Pakistan, the quality of the recordings made are at par with any international standard recording space. The listeners will experience instruments they may have never heard before or paid attention to. The main concept behind creating this platform is to bridge the gap between our younger musicians who are often times picked up by smaller platforms and the more established musicians who are usually a part of the bigger platforms. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Pakistani music fraternity for supporting Acoustic Station.”

At the launch event, live performances from Taamasha, Kashmir, Chand Tara Orchestra, Mizmaar, Auj and more were seen by attendees. The event was attended by many musicians, including Fuzon, Fakhir, RJ Khalid Malik, Lenny Massey, Hamza Akram Qawwal and many
