This year, Yumna Zaidi was impressive, thanks to her performances in not just one or two but three drama serials. Her range as an actor has started becoming visible as she played three diverse characters on the small screen including Hajra in Inkaar that garnered a lot of acclaim for her. The other two include a role in Mehreen Jabbar’s Dil Kiya Karey and Ishq Zah e Naseeb that is presently on-air.
Instep reported earlier that Yumna has paired up with Bilal Abbas Khan for her next drama serial; the two seem to be playing very unique characters.
However, Yumna has yet another project lined up for 2020. The actor recently shared a picture from the set of her new drama that she just began shooting for in Lahore.
“Allahrakhi, new character in making,” she posted on her social media handles.
She is dressed in loud red attire reminiscent of Lollywood circa 80s; Allahrakhi appears to be very different from the urban characters Yumna has been portraying of late. Given her previous work, we are intrigued to see how she pulls off a loud character. Watch this space for exclusive details.
