The Koblumpi Music Festival 2019 to make its debut

Origami & Mekaal Hasan have joined forces for The Koblumpi Music Festival 2019 that is set to take place on December 22 at The Farm in Lahore. Created in partnership with Lotus PR, the festival will feature Sikander Ka Mandar, Keeray Makoray, Poor Rich Boy, Mekaal Hasan Band, Quadrum, Harris Saeed, Farheen Raza, Madlock, Arsalan Hasan, Bayaan, Ali Suhail, Romaisa Tariq, Abdullah Siddiqui and Luke William to name a few. Tickets are priced at PKR 1,000/ and can be purchased in advance from Mocca Lahore [Mall 1 and DHA Phase 5] from Monday and will also be available at the venue.

The festival is an afternoon one – from 12 noon to 6 pm - and apart from music, it will feature activities for kids and families as well as food stalls and more.

“We want to create a platform for musicians across the board to have an opportunity to perform live on stage and bring back the healthy, outdoor activities culture we grew up with. We hope to scale it up next year in March Inshallah. This is just the beginning and we are excited!” said Mehreen Rana of Origami in a press statement.

Festival chief Mekaal Hasan noted in a statement, “The Koblumpi Music Festival seeks to present the freshest talent and outpouring of creative thought from independent artists across Pakistan. The festival will focus on presenting original music by new as well as established artists whose creative vision is one of pushing boundaries and creating new waves in entertainment and music.”
