The Punjabi number is melodious and quite catchy
Momina Mustehsan, who became a singing sensation after making her debut with Coke Studio 9’s ‘Afreen Afreen’ that featured her alongside Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan seems to be on a roll.
After Momina came out with her latest track, called ‘Hamesha’ with singer turned actor Uzair Jaswal earlier this month, the singer has recently released a new song in collaboration with Bilal Saeed.
Titled ‘Baari’, the Punjabi number is melodious and quite catchy. As for the music video it has some old-Lahore vibes that gel well with the lyrics of the song, which is all about allowing love to come into one’s life. The video of the mellow, soft track shows Bilal as a guy who is visiting the Walled City from abroad and waiting to catch a glimpse of Momina, while the singer is a shy girl who’s falling in love.
Produced and presented by Bilal Saeed and One Two Records, the song was released on YouTube on November 26 and since then has already hit more than 600,000 views. Apart from Momina Mustehsan and Bilal Saeed, YouTube sensation Rahim Pardesi makes a special appearance in the video.
