During her royal visit to Pakistan last month, Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton sported various creations by Pakistani designers including veteran designer Maheen Khan along with a few ready to wear outfits by brands such as Bonanza and Ideas (Gul Ahmed). Kate Middleton also donned a monochrome outfit by Elan while visiting the SOS Village in Lahore. Recently, the Duchess sent a heartfelt note to Elan’s creative director, Khadijah Shah, thanking her for the attire.
Khadijah Shah took to Twitter and shared a picture of the thank you note that she received from Kate.
“Thank you so much for all of your help ahead of my tour to Pakistan,” wrote the Duchess of Cambridge. “I am so grateful to you and your team for the wonderful selection you made for me to choose from – although having so many beautiful things did make decision making a little more difficult!” added Kate Middleton.
She continued, “I loved the outfit I wore, so thank you for all your time and effort. Pakistan really is a wonderful country, which we both thoroughly enjoyed visiting and hope to return to one day soon. This comes with my warmest thanks and best wishes.”
Moreover, Khadija Shah captioned her post, which read, “I was delighted to have even been considered, this is just humbling to a whole different level. However what’s most commendable is the consideration, grace and thoughtfulness of HRH the Duchess Catherine, it is no wonder that she is so respected and beloved.”
