Singer and actor Junaid Khan, who is currently appearing in Mohabbat Na Kariyo alongside Hira Mani and Zarnish Khan, is geared up for his next drama serial, titled Kashf.
Directed by Danish Nawaz, who has popular dramas such as Ishq Tamasha and the recently concluded Khaas to his credit, the upcoming project will feature Junaid Khan and Hira Mani in lead roles.
To learn more about the project, Instep got in touch with Junaid Khan, who shared that all he can tell at this point is that the storyline is very interesting.
According to the singer and actor, Kashf is Danish Nawaz, Hira Mani and Junaid’s second project together after their hit drama serial Sun Yara (2017). “We are quite emotional about it and want to produce great content for our viewers; after Sun Yara expectations are quite high and we all are trying to give our best,” Junaid told Instep, adding that Danish is an amazing director, who is very critical about the script.
Talking about his character, the actor revealed, “I am essaying the character of Wajdaan, who is madly in love with Kashf. The intensity of his love is so strong that he is willing to face any difficult situation that comes his way.”
He further reiterated, “When you watch the drama, you will get to know that Kashf is bound by some rules and hence she is hesitant to invest in this relationship. But Wajdaan is willing to go to any extent to win her heart.”
Junaid Khan also shared that his upcoming drama has an elaborate cast and will tentatively go on air next month.
