Filmmakers, Ammar Lasani and Kanza Zia, whose cinematic debut Gumm (released earlier this year) features Sami Khan, Shamoon Abbasi and Shameen Khan, are all set to release their second film, The Window.
Co-written by Ammar and Kanza, along with screenwriter, producer, and president of Three Feather Pictures, Randy Zuniga, the screenplay of their upcoming project won the Best Screenplay at the monthly Festigious International Film Festival in May 2019.
Recently, Kanza took to social media to announce that screenplay of The Window is now nominated for the Festigious International Film Festival annual film awards, which are scheduled to take place in December. “The feature film is going on floors later this year with Faran Tahir and Suhaee Abro, who starred in My Pure Land,” Kanza wrote on her official Instagram handle.
Speaking to Instep about the upcoming project, Ammar shared, “We submitted the screenplay of The Window at the Festigious International Film Festival 2019 where it bagged an award but the film has not been produced yet. We’ll start shooting for it by the end of this year.”
He also informed that they are presently in the process of confirming and finalizing things. “At this stage, all I can reveal is, it’s a co-production between our Starstruck Films and L.A based Three Feather Pictures,” he added.
