Pakistani telefilm Laal makes it to Amazon Prime

Directed by Haseeb Hassan of Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Mann Mayal fame and written by renowned playwright Umera Ahmed, Laal has now made it to Amazon Prime, according to recent reports.

Featuring Bilal Abbas Khan, Gohar Rasheed and Kubra Khan in key roles, patriotic telefilm Laal aired on Geo Entertainment on Pakistan Day, that is, March 23, this year. Directed by Haseeb Hassan of Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Mann Mayal fame and written by renowned playwright Umera Ahmed, the production has now made it to Amazon Prime, according to recent reports.

“Fought on the high waters of Pakistan’s coastline, this is the action packed story of the battle between the pirates that will take prisoners in order to illegally smuggle illicit material into the country and the brave Navy officers and soldiers who must stop them at all costs. Released to record-breaking ratings in March 2019, this Urdu language military drama has English subtitles,” read the film’s description on the site.

The 71-minute long telefilm follows the life of Behram, essayed by Bilal Abbas, who is determined to achieve his dreams despite his father’s disapproval; however, he doesn’t realize what it could lead to.

Bilal plays the role of a Navy officer while Kubra is seen as a doctor in this narrative with patriotic fervour. How the two cross paths and where they end up, you will have to watch to find that out.
