The first official trailer of Apple TV Plus’ original series See recently came out and it features Aquaman actor Jason Momoa in a lead role. According to Variety, “Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see. He must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed.”
See is a 10-episode, post-apocalyptic sci-fi series coming to Apple’s forthcoming streaming service, Apple TV Plus; it follows a community living in a world where people have lost the ability to see. Momoa must help this group survive the vast challenges that come with navigating their terrifying new reality as they cope with enemies that want to kill them. The company briefly previewed See in its sizzle reel during the Apple TV Plus announcement.
Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced the trailer of See at an Apple event earlier this week. “This morning, I want to share with you one of the most imaginative, thrilling, and thought-provoking dramas ever,” Cook said, adding, “See stars Jason Momoa and takes place hundreds of years into the future in a world without sight. We worked with blind and low-vision cast, crew, and consultants for authenticity.”
