TV actor Hamza Firdous of O’Rangreza fame has taken up some diverse roles ever since he stepped into the industry a couple of years back. He starred as a good Hindu man in last year’s period drama Ghughi while he essayed the role of calm and composed Ammar in the recently concluded Seerat. Presently, Hamza is gearing up for three roles in upcoming TV projects that are expected to go on-air sometime next month. His web series Saat Mulaqatein is available on Binjee – Pakistan’s first online video portal.
“I am playing the role of a writer in the web series, written and directed by Kashif Nisar,” Hamza told Instep, adding that it’s the director’s first venture for web. “I am the narrator of the story that follows the life of a husband and wife, essayed by Noman Ijaz and Zara Tareen. You will know my role in the narrative when you watch it.”
Besides, Hamza will appear in one of the tracks featured in the upcoming sequel to crime thriller Andhera Ujala, directed by Aamir Yousaf. His character is complex in the sequel while he will be seen as a good guy opposite Sonia Mishal in Bin Badal Barsaat.
In addition to these productions, the actor recently began shooting for his next called Malal e Yaar that features him opposite Azekah Daniel; it will also feature Zain Baig and Seemi Pasha in important roles. Directed by Asad Jabal, whose serial Mera Rab Waris is currently airing on Geo Entertainment, the play features Hamza as Danish who is an outgoing, extrovert young man in love.
“Danish is a local shop owner who is in love with a girl. I am very excited for this one,” he concluded.
