Osama Tahir on his role in upcoming mini-series

Actor Osama Tahir, who made his cinematic debut with Umer Adil’s directorial debut, Chalay Thay Saath (2017), is currently appearing in drama serial Hania that features actor-singer Junaid Khan and Zoya Nasir in lead roles.

The actor is now all geared up for his upcoming mini-series alongside Pinky Memsaab actress, Hajra Yamin.

In a bid to know more about the project, Instep got in touch with Osama Tahir who gave us some details.

“Produced by Angeline Malik, this specific four episodes series is titled Dil He Tou Hai and is a part of mini-series, Choti Choti Baatein,” shared the actor, adding that Dil He Tou Hai highlights an idea that is frowned upon by our society.

Osama further went on say that the four-episodic series is a dramedy (drama/comedy). “In each story, the characters have their own struggles to overcome and deal with it, giving the audience the chance to reflect on the idea in a light hearted manner; with a smile,” he revealed.

Talking about his character in the upcoming mini-series, he shared, “I am essaying the character of Saif and Hajra Yamin is playing Inaya, the role of my wife while Sajid Hasan is essaying the character of my father.”

According to the actor, the plot revolves around a conflict between the father and son. “The father wants something that is close to his heart, but the son finds it very difficult to come to terms with it. Meanwhile Inaya tries to make her husband and father-in-law understand the situation,” he added.

The mini-series is scheduled to go on air right after Eid.
