Neelam Muneer, who is gearing up for the release of her next film, Wrong No. 2, this Eid ul Fitr, will be seen in a TV project later this year. She delivered a brilliant performance in last year’s critically and commercially acclaimed drama serial Dil Mom Ka Diya, for which she has been nominated at the Lux Style Awards 2019.
She is all set to essay a different role in her next that features her opposite Imran Ashraf when it will go on-air on Geo TV in the coming months.
“It is a different and a difficult character at the same time,” Neelam told Instep. “I feel once you are able to meet your audience’s expectations, it becomes a responsibility to maintain that with projects that follow. I try my best to put all my efforts in my characters.”
“There is so much to my character and how she takes the narrative forward is very unpredictable,” she added, refusing to reveal much at the moment. “I am sure people will really like it.”
Besides, in Wrong No. 2, Neelam will be seen as the bold and beautiful Zoya, who values her family and is very practical at the same time. Her co-stars include Sami Khan, Mehmood Aslam, Jawed Sheikh, Yasir Nawaz and Danish Nawaz and it promises to be a hilarious, roller coaster ride. Fingers crossed.
