After making waves as Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, followed by a negative character in the ongoing drama serial Inkaar that is picking up good reviews, Imran Ashraf is gearing up for his next TV project. He will be playing a romantic hero opposite Neelam Muneer in the upcoming play that will be aired on Geo Entertainment later this year.
“I am working with Geo after almost five years,” Imran told Instep. “My character is very interesting, romantic and an intense one. I am playing a romantic hero in this one but I will try to add some uniqueness to it.”
The Ranjha Ranjha Kardi actor also informed that the untitled project is being directed by Saima Waseem of Gumrah and Aatish fame while the script has been penned by Qaisra Hayat.
Imran Ashraf and Neelam Muneer last shared the screen in Dil Mom Ka Diya that generated great reviews and has bagged multiple nominations at the upcoming Lux Style Awards 2019. However, the two actors weren’t cast opposite each other in DMKD. In the upcoming play, they will be essaying each other’s love interest and we hope the two share good chemistry.
