With a number of diverse characters to his credit, Ahsan Khan, who was part of the first few episodes in Mohammad Ehteshamuddin’s ongoing period drama Aangan, is all geared up for his next TV project.
Instep got in touch with the Udaari actor, who is currently shooting for the play, to find out more about the play and his character.
“The title of the play has not been finalized as yet and all I can say at this point is that it is a light and fun-filled play,” Ahsan Khan told Instep.
The actor further went on to say that the play, which is written by Dr. Younis Butt and directed by Mazhar Moin of Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah fame, is based on comic situations. Speaking of his character in the play, Ahsan shared, “I am essaying the role of a guy who gets stuck in weird yet troublesome situations.”
A 7th Sky Entertainment production, the untitled play features Ramsha Khan opposite Khan alongside veterans such as Qavi Khan, Firdous Jamal, Hina Khawaja Bayat and Rehan Sheikh, among others. It will be aired on Geo Entertainment in the coming months.
