Actor-singer Mohsin Abbas Haider, who last appeared in drama serial Meri Guriya - that highlighted the issue of child abuse - has opened up about his own struggles. He recently took to social media and shared, “Depression is all set to kill me soon. I just wanted to say thanks to the people who caused it.”

This was followed by comments pouring in from several artists and industry insiders, who assured Mohsin of their support and that he can come to them if he feels the need to do so.

“Bro, I am here any time you need to talk or vent. Stay strong. You are loved,” commented Osman Khalid Butt, who will soon be appearing in Saqib Malik’s directorial debut Baaji.

Ayesha Omar Khan, on the other hand, had the most comforting thing to say to Mohsin. She said, “You’re not alone Mohsin. Never. Just stay strong and get help. Talk to anyone you feel like... Just take 15 minutes at a time. Surround yourself with people who lift you up.”

Other artists who made an effort to stand with Mohsin in this testing time include Ali Gul Pir, Anoushay Ashraf, Tooba Siddiqui, Mansha Pasha and Natasha Baig, among others.
