The Ali Zafar and Maya Ali starrer Teefa In Trouble released in Pakistan on July 20, 2018; the film has ever since then established itself as one of the best films of 2018.
With 8.1 rating on IMDB, the Ahsan Rahim directorial broke all previous box office records in Pakistan on its opening day while it has raked in a total of 32.225 crores at the box office. It has become the third highest grossing Pakistani film, after Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 and Punjab Nahi Jaungi that stand at number 1 and 2, respectively.
Teefa In Trouble has another feather in its cap as the film recently premiered on Netflix and is available on the streaming site in India and around the world, excluding Pakistan and China.
Lead pair of the film, Ali and Maya took to social media to make the announcement. “Teefa In Trouble now available in India and around the world (minus Pakistan and China) on Netflix,” they posted.
Prior to this, the film was brought back to cinemas on public demand. Teefa In Trouble partnered with Yash Raj Films for its international release and features an all-star cast including veterans Mehmood Aslam, Jawed Sheikh, Asma Abbas and Faisal Qureshi, among others.
