Since its announcement, writer-director Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s upcoming film Kaaf Kangana has been in the news mainly because of several changes in the cast. Initially, Farhan Saeed was roped in to play the lead alongside Sohai Ali Abro. This was followed by the news that Urwa Hocane will essay the titular role instead of Sohai. And quite recently, it was announced that veteran actress Resham has joined the cast of Kaaf Kangana and will be seen essaying an important role. However, all of them are no more part of the film. In a bid to know whether the news is true or not, Instep got in touch with the actress.
“Yes the news is confirmed, I’m not a part of the movie anymore,” informed Resham adding that being a professional and passionate actor it is her job to fulfill her prior commitments. “Actually, the shooting of my upcoming serial Mutthi Bhar Chahat alongside Aagha Ali is still underway and due to date issues I had to opt out of the movie.”
For now, all we know is that the film that Kaaf Kangana will feature Sami Khan and model turned actor Eshal Fayyaz in lead roles along with Ayesha Omar and is an intense romance drama with a patriotic touch and is being made in association with the ISPR.
