Earlier this year Feroze Khan and Sana Javed paired up for drama serial Khaani that picked up rave reviews from audience and critics alike. The two also shared screen space in an Eid telefilm called Dino Ki Dulhaniya, which was directed by Mehreen Jabbar, and won many hearts with their great onscreen chemistry. Those who wished to see them together once again can rejoice as the much anticipated TV play, Romeo Weds Heer that was in the pipeline for long, finally has a release date.
The upcoming romantic comedy, which promises to be very unique as compared to other love stories, is scheduled to air on October 21 on Geo Entertainment. The recently released teasers pack quite a punch and have generated great response on social media, given the unique treatment of plot and characters.
Sana as Heer and Feroze as Romeo will be seen together as each other’s love interest in Romeo Weds Heer however there is a twist to this tale of love which is yet to be disclosed. The two seem to share a love-hate relationship that has its ups and downs. How the two get married to each other, as the name suggests, we will know once the play goes on air.
Aside from Feroze and Sana, the play that is directed by Anjum Shahzad also features Syed Shafaat Ali, Firdous Jamal and Saman Ansari in key roles while it has been written by Muhammad Younis Butt.
