Bollywood movie Badhaai Ho’s interesting and quirky trailer recently came out and features Neena Gupta, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. The movie is a hilarious take on the taboo surrounding pregnancy at an older age.
After the trailer was released, many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to appreciate the witty and quirky content of the film along with the performances of actors. Our actors also didn’t hesitate and Amar Khan, who has period drama Ghughi and Belapur ki Dayan to her credit, also loved Badhaai Ho’s trailer and gave her two cents on it. The actor and film graduate took to her official Facebook handle to share her views and wrote, “Sheer genius, a relevant topic especially in lower middle class-zero family planning and bara larka 26 ka or chota 6 ka.”
While our Pakistani films are usually accused of being rip offs of various Bollywood and at times Hollywood movies, Amar further went on to say, “If you’re copying Indian films, kindly copy their brownie points, look at the powerhouse supporting cast... each character is so exceptionally well crafted!”
Slated to release on October 19, by the looks of the trailer, Badhaai Ho seems like a must watch.
