The two actors, who are starring in their third film together with Load Wedding, were seen at the Coca-Cola Pakistan Wedding Show launch event, which is now in its second year.
In a special segment, titled ‘The Wedding Show with HSY’, the cast spoke about the culture of weddings in Pakistan and how their film offers an escape from daily struggles. The segment included a rapid fire round and also saw Fahad singing the lead song from the film, ‘Good Luck’ with his co-star Mehwish and HSY dancing to it in good jest.
As for the event, it is the “largest wedding expo” held in Pakistan, according to a press statement and has expanded to four cities with over 70 exhibitors. Scheduled to begin in Lahore in August (11 and 12), it will then head to Sialkot (August 19), Islamabad (September 1 and 2) before concluding in Faisalabad on September 9.
Load Wedding, directed by Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza and a collaboration between Filmwala Pictures and Geo Films, is set to release this Eid-ul-Azha. It will be distributed by Zee Studios International in international territories.
