Feroze Khan is certainly on a roll these days. He has won many hearts with his intense and believable performance as Mir Hadi in the recently concluded drama serial Khaani. He also appeared in the Eid special telefilm Dino Ki Dulhaniya.
He has finished shooting for an upcoming drama serial, Dil Kiya Karey that has been directed by Mehreen Jabbar and is gearing up for his next TV project, which is titled Romeo Weds Heer. The upcoming play features his Khaani co-star Sana Javed opposite him and the two have just finished shooting for the play’s original soundtrack.
“The song is ridiculously beautiful,” Khan told Instep over a telephonic conversation from the set. “The 360-degree setup makes it look like a film on the small screen, now that Pakistani plays are followed internationally as well.”
The actor also informed that they have finished shooting for the play and it is going to air very soon. Produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, the project has been directed by Anjum Shahzad, the team that was behind Khaani, the critically and commercially acclaimed drama that recently came to an end.
“There is no compromise on anything by the producers while Anjum Shahzad has a very different kind of vision,” Feroze added. “Romeo Weds Heer is going to be one of the best films to be watched on TV.”
