After making a TV comeback with drama serial Iltija, model turned actor Tooba Siddiqui is gearing up for her next drama serial Tum Se He Taluq Hai. From the teasers, it seems like a family drama that features Tooba in a key role alongside Syed Jibran.
While the actor essayed the role of a mother of two disabled children in her last play Iltija, which highlighted a common medical condition, Down Syndrome (DNS), Tooba’s upcoming project portrays her as “a passive woman.”
“I am essaying the character of Aleena in Tum Se He Taluq Hai. Aleena is the kind of woman who is always putting in efforts to make everything right for her family and kids,” Tooba told Instep regarding her character in the play. “However, her husband breaks her trust and this deception turns her life around. And from there her life takes a new turn and her journey begins.”
Tum Se He Taluq Hai has been directed by Shakeel Khan and has an all star cast including Faryal Mehmood and Ali Abbas besides Tooba Siddiqui and Syed Jibran.
“I had a great experience working with the entire team and I am really looking forward to this play as it one of the signature projects by 7th Sky Entertainment,” the actor shared.
The play will go on air on Geo TV later this month.
