The newest addition to the list of telefilms scheduled to air on Eid ul Fitr this year is Mehreen Jabbar’s Dino Ki Dulhaniya that features Feroze Khan and Sana Javed in lead roles. The two have become one of the most liked onscreen couples ever since they paired up for ongoing drama serial Khaani that is consistently topping the ratings chart. Aside from Khaani and Dino Ki Dulhaniya, Feroze and Sana will also be sharing the screen space in upcoming drama serial Romeo Weds Heer that is directed by Anjum Shahzad.
Coming back to the upcoming Dino Ki Dulhaniya, which will mark Mehreen Jabbar’s return to television after a small hiatus, it was shot almost a year back and was supposed to air on Eid ul Azha last year. However, due to reasons unknown, it was delayed and is finally airing on this Eid ul Fitr, Mehreen Jabbar confirmed to Instep.
The official teaser, featuring Feroze and Sana as a married couple, has come out and it looks like an interesting tale of love with hints of romance and tragedy. Apparently, it is an arranged marriage for the two after which they fall in love with each other but there is a hidden truth that the husband in unaware of and when the wife tries to be honest about it, he finds it hard to believe her.
The upcoming telefilm also stars Shamim Hilaly and Ali Ansari in important roles. Produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment, Dino Ki Dulhaniya is penned by Dr. Muhammad Younis Butt of Hum Sab Ajeeb Se Hain.
