A number of Pakistani films including Moor, Dukhtar, Ho Mann Jahaan and others have been made available on Netflix recently, making them accessible to a wider audience than ever before. The newest addition to the list of local films that have released on Netflix is Umer Adil directorial Chalay Thay Saath that features Syra Shahroz, Chinese actor Kent S. Leung, Zhalay Sarhadi, Osama Tahir, Mansha Pasha and Faris Khalid in prominent roles.
Syra recently took to Instagram and announced that the film is now up on Netflix.
Prior to getting a release on the streaming channel, Chalay Thay Sath was screened to a packed audience in Hong Kong earlier this year and speaking to Instep the director confirmed that the film will also release in China soon as they are working on a proper release plan there. It also saw a release in the US post its release in Pakistan on April 21, 2017 that generated mixed reviews.
Chalay Thay Sath follows the story of six young individuals who embark on a road trip that becomes a journey of discovering themselves and their relationships. Shot in the beautiful locations of Pakistan, it’s about love and friendships.
