Singer-turned actor Farhan Saeed recently made his debut as music video director for Hamza Malik’s ‘O Jaana‘ while he has been a little inactive in terms of singing and acting projects. However, he has lately been performing live across the country and beyond. He also performed at the closing ceremony of HBL PSL 2018 held earlier this year.
The latest news surrounding the artist suggests that he is soon to return to the small screen, after Sila that starred him alongside Ainy Jaffri, with an upcoming drama serial called Suno Chanda. Starring Farhan as Australia-returned Arsal, the drama will see him opposite the very talented and diverse Iqra Aziz, who is also featured in the music video ‘O Jaana’.
Produced by Momina Duraid, the upcoming project will be a Ramazan special transmission. The teasers have started coming out and by the looks of it, Suno Chanda follows the story of Farhan and Iqra, who apparently hate each other but their families want them to get married. The two keep arguing and teasing each other ever since the guy returns to Pakistan from Australia. It looks like a love-hate relationship with shades of romance, comedy and drama.
Though Farhan and Iqra have collaborated before for ‘O Jaana’, this will be the first time the two will share screen space. Iqra is a versatile actor and is currently playing the key roles in drama serials Khamoshi and Tabeer.
