After the romantic comedy Karachi Se Lahore (2015) and its sequel Lahore Se Aagey (2016), Wajahat Rauf and Yasir Hussain have decided to team up again. The two are currently working on a film script that will release next year, according to Wajahat Rauf.

After the romantic comedy Karachi Se Lahore (2015) and its sequel Lahore Se Aagey (2016), Wajahat Rauf and Yasir Hussain have decided to team up again. The two are currently working on a film script that will release next year, according to Wajahat Rauf.
“Yasir and I are writing the script for our next film that will release on Eid 2019,” he confirmed to Instep.
When asked about the film genre, Wajahat responded, “Same. Comedy.”
He added: “It will be more comedy than romance, but it is not a road trip this time.”
Aside from this, Wajahat Rauf is hosting an online show called Voice Over Man, with celebrities as guests. “It’s going great; we have got 2.5 million views in one month,” Wajahat shared.
Coming to Yasir Hussain, he is also hosting a show although his is a TV show called The After Moon Show that features a pair of celebrities in each episode.
Yasir not only wrote the scripts for KSL and LSA but also acted in the films; he appeared in a cameo role in the first part while played the lead role in the sequel. Whether he will be seen in the upcoming film or not, time will tell.
