The latest to do so is none other than Mahira Khan. The actress will be joining political leader Imran Khan to raise funds for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital (SKMH).
Even though not much has been revealed yet, Khan shared a post via her Facebook handle revealing that she will be joining the PTI Chairman at a gala being held in Dubai next weekend. Prices for the gala tickets range between AED 600-1500, with the AED 600 tickets already having sold out!
This is not all. Khan previously took up the role of ambassador, along with Maya Ali and Sana Mir, for SKMH’s Breast Cancer Awareness campaign, as well as served as a speaker at Agha Khan University for similar causes.
Last year Ali Zafar was part of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre fundraiser which took form as a 5-city US tour. Through the events, the singer was able to raise funds over USD 1 million for the construction of the paediatric unit at the SKCMH.
