Hollywood’s widespread sexual harassment controversy has brought multiple similar incidents to light that were kept under wraps so far. The recent addition to the list of high-profile figures to be accused of sexual harassment is Oscar winning actor Dustin Hoffman. First, writer Anna Graham Hunter alleged in a column in the Hollywood Reporter that the now 80-year-old actor groped her on the set of TV movie Death of a Salesman and “talked about sex to me and in front of me.

Hollywood’s widespread sexual harassment controversy has brought multiple similar incidents to light that were kept under wraps so far. The recent addition to the list of high-profile figures to be accused of sexual harassment is Oscar winning actor Dustin Hoffman. First, writer Anna Graham Hunter alleged in a column in the Hollywood Reporter that the now 80-year-old actor groped her on the set of TV movie Death of a Salesman and “talked about sex to me and in front of me.” This was followed by a similar charge coming from writer and TV producer, Wendy Riss Gatsiounis who claimed that she was propositioned by Hoffman in 1991, when he was 53 and she was a 26-year-old struggling playwright.

In the light of above mentioned claims, the veteran star came forward to apologise for allegedly sexually harassing a 17-year-old intern in 1985. He recently issued a statement seeking apology for “anything I might have done [that] could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.”

Meanwhile, six women including actor Olivia Munn, accused director Brett Ratner of sexual misconduct in a Los Angeles Times report yesterday. Munn also complained about his inappropriate behavior on the set of After the Sunset in 2004.

Hoffman and Ratner are the newest Hollywood figures to face these allegations while the list also includes producer Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey and writer-director James Toback.
