Having made her cinematic debut with Nabeel Qureshi’s Na Maloom Afraad in 2014, the actor appeared in a number of popular TV plays including Sang-e-Mar Mar, Khuda Aur Muhabbat and Muqabil. While she is currently essaying the role of protagonist in drama serials Alif Allah Aur Insaan and Shadi Mubarak Ho, she is also gearing up for the release of her upcoming big screen project, Parwaaz Hai Junoon alongside Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Amir and many others.
If reports are to be believed, Khan has already signed on for another upcoming film that too is a big production. After Mawra Hocane, Kubra Khan is said to have joined the cast of director Nadeem Beyg’s much awaited sequel to the blockbuster Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, titled Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2. According to actor-writer Vasay Chaudhry, “Kubra will be a part of the film and will be joining the rest of the cast in Turkey in November.”
The upcoming film also stars Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Vasay Chaudhry and Ahmed Ali Butt while Syra Shahroz recently opted out of the project for reasons unknown.
The shooting for JPNA2 has begun and it is expected to release in 2018.
