In the post-revival age of cinema, actor (and host) Ayesha Omar has appeared in a number of films. Since making her big screen debut with Mein Hoon Shahid Afridi in 2013, Omar has gone on to star in films as diverse as Karachi Se Lahore and Yalghaar.
While Omar gears up for the release of her upcoming film Rehbra alongside Ahsan Khan and Sarish Khan early next year, she has signed on to star in another upcoming film, titled Saat Din Mohabbat In.
Starring Mahira Khan and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles, the film has has been penned by Fasih Bari Khan and is being directed by Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi of Zinda Bhaag fame.
Speaking about the project in a press statement, Omar stated, “I said yes to the movie as soon as I read the script. I absolutely loved the concept of the movie as it is a complete entertainer with a pinch of both comedy and romance.”
Aside from Omar, actor-comedian Hina Dilpazeer of Bulbulay has also joined the cast of Saat Din Mohabbat In. The film includes an ensemble cast that also includes Javed Sheikh, model turned actor Amna Ilyas, Mira Sethi, Aamir Qureshi and Adnan Shah Tipu.
The film follows the story of a young man, essayed by Munawar, who embarks on a journey to find his true love (Mahira Khan). The shooting of the film has begun and it is expected to release in 2018.
