The two individuals come in contact with each other at a very young age and stand by each other through thick and thin. However, as they grow up they are forced to part ways as destiny holds something else for them. What effect it has on them and how they deal with circumstances forms the crux of the story.
Coming to their characters, Hani is a very submissive girl who loses her parents in childhood but her companion Saad is always there to support her. Saad, on the other hand, is a kind hearted boy who falls in love with Hani and mistakes her friendship for love.
Aside from Sadia Khan and Uzair Jaswal, Shayad also stars veteran actor Noman Ijaz who essays the role of an arrogant, powerful man, yet again.
Written by critically acclaimed novelist, Faiza Iftikhar whose past works include Aik Naye Cinderella, Thakan, Kaanch Ki Guriya, Roag and Dillagi, the drama is scheduled to on air from October 27.
