Shoaib Mansoor’s much awaited film, Verna, that stars Mahira Khan in a lead role is all set to hit cinemas in November this year. The film created a lot of hype ever since it was announced and the recently released official poster and first teaser also poured in mostly positive reviews.
Shoaib Mansoor’s much awaited film, Verna, that stars Mahira Khan in a lead role is all set to hit cinemas in November this year. The film created a lot of hype ever since it was announced and the recently released official poster and first teaser also poured in mostly positive reviews. The latest development surrounding the film is the release of love song, ‘Sambhal Sambhal Kay’ that features Khan and singer turned actor, Haroon Shahid as a couple in love.
With vocals by Zeb Bangash and Haroon Shahid, who makes his acting debut with Verna, the song is a sweet gesture of love. It is set against a park where the two are being shot by a friend, essayed by debutant Naimal Khawar, as she follows them with a camera.
Verna tells the story of a teacher, essayed by Mahira Khan who will be seen as a rape survivor while Haroon Shahid essays the role of her husband. Aside from Khan and Shahid, the film also stars Zarrar Khan who plays the antagonist.
Verna is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
