Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir has a lot up his sleeve this year. He will soon be seen in TV serials like Shameless and The Magicians apart from a film called Mindhack: #savetheworld while he returned to theatre with a special screening of Shakespeare’s Othello earlier this year. The latest news surrounding the actor suggests that he is gearing up for the final season of popular American TV series, Scandal that will go on air from October 5 on ABC Network.
According to the press statement, Tahir essays the role of President Rashad in the seventh (final) season of the production and will appear in three episodes. The promos have started coming out but further details regarding the project as well as Tahir’s character have been kept under wraps for now.
Produced by Shonda Rhimes, Scandal also stars actors Kerry Washington, Guillermo Diaz, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Tony Goldwyn, Jeff Perry, Bellamy Young, Joshua Malina, Scott Foley, George Newbern and Cornelius Smith Jr apart from Tahir.
Aside from the aforementioned projects that he is currently working on, the international artist will also be reprising his role as Mallick on American TV show, 12 Monkeys (Season 4) in 2018.
