There are very few Pakistani films that don’t have Jawed Sheikh in them. This year alone, Sheikh has been a part of several big budgeted films; he played Danish Taimoor’s father in Mehrunisa V Lub U and is one of the lead actors in Nabeel Qureshi’s Na Maloom Afraad 2.

This year alone, Sheikh has been a part of several big budgeted films; he played Danish Taimoor’s father in Mehrunisa V Lub U and is one of the lead actors in Nabeel Qureshi’s Na Maloom Afraad 2. He also has his own production, Wajood in the pipeline and now we’ve heard that he’s joining the star-studded cast of yet another film.
Sheikh will be part of another cinematic venture that we actually have high expectations from; Meenu and Farjad’s upcoming film. The duo has been responsible for films like Zinda Bhaag and Jeevan Hathi. Titled ‘Saath Din Mohabbat In’, Sheikh’s latest cinematic venture stars Mahira Khan and Sheheryar Munawar in lead roles. The film also stars Amna Ilyas, Mira Sethi, Aamir Qureshi and Adnan Shah Tipu.
In a press release, Sheikh expressed his sentiments: “I was excited to be a part of this project as soon as I read the script. It is very well scripted by Fasih Bari Khan. We need more light hearted stories like these that have the potential to entertain the audiences, and be commercially successful.”
While the film went on floor earlier this month, it is slated to release in 2018.
