Priyanka Chopra’s future in Hollywood looks very bright. Having won hearts for her American TV series Quantico, Chopra quickly signed her first major Hollywood film, the ridiculous Baywatch. Despite her presence in the film alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron, the film crashed and burned upon arrival and received seriously bad reviews.
Priyanka Chopra’s future in Hollywood looks very bright. Having won hearts for her American TV series Quantico, Chopra quickly signed her first major Hollywood film, the ridiculous Baywatch. Despite her presence in the film alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron, the film crashed and burned upon arrival and received seriously bad reviews. But Chopra is not struggling post-script. If reports are to be believed, she has signed her second major film role and unlike Baywatch, this one looks promising. The film is called Isn’t It Romantic and will see Chopra essaying the role of a yoga ambassador, Isabella. In the film, Chopra will be joined by actors Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and Adam DeVine. The principle photography has begun on this romantic comedy under the direction of Todd Strauss-Schulson.
“Isn’t it romantic follows the life of a New York City architect Natalie, played by Wilson, who works hard to get noticed at her job but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city’s next skyscraper,” reports Mumbai Mirror. “She has an encounter with a mugger that renders her unconscious, waking to discover that her life has suddenly become her worst nightmare.”
The project is being helmed by Strauss-Schulson from a screenplay by Erin Cardillo, Dana Fox and Katie Silberman, and Paula Pell. The film has gone on floors and is being shot in and around New York City. It will come out on Valentine’s Day, on February 14, 2019.
