Teefa in Trouble, a cinematic venture that will mark Ali Zafar’s official entry into the world of Pakistani cinema alongside one Maya Ali, is easily one of this year’s most anticipated films. The two actors took the stage together at the Geo-Lux Style Awards recently, leading to more speculation about their upcoming film. With Ahsan Rahim taking on direction duties though, expectations from this project remain sky high.
The film, which is dubbed a romantic-action-comedy by its producers, went into production earlier this year and it seems that the first shooting spell of the film is over. The portion in Lahore has been completed after 42 days of shooting and the cast and crew are now heading to Europe for the next spell. Starring Ali Zafar as the titular character Teefa, the film will see him performing some hardcore action sequences. According to reports, Zafar has performed all the stunts himself without any fear.
Maya Ali, who recently won the Best TV Actress trophy at Geo-Lux Style Awards in 2017 will play the role of his leading lady Anya in the film.
Not much is known about the plot at this time but given the names involved including the masterful Rahim, Teefa in Trouble looks very promising. Let’s wait and watch.
