Considering the security of the citizens, Lahore Eat was postponed multiple times because of uncertain situation of the country. The organizers were waiting for the situation to get better before they announce a new date so that they can ensure the safety of people. The new date has been announced now and the festival will take place from March 31 till April 2 at Fortress Stadium Lahore.

The new date has been announced now and the festival will take place from March 31 till April 2 at Fortress Stadium Lahore. Like last year, Lahore Eat 2017 is being organized by CKO Event Architecture in collaboration with Latitude CRS.
“Security and safety was our top priority,” Omar Omari of CKO Event Architecture shared with Instep. “It’s been a tough few weeks going back and forth with dates, etc. due to security but I feel that Fortress is a good choice given the security situation and the scale of the event. Lahore Eat is an iconic event and Fortress Stadium is an iconic location for Lahore. We have taken similar spaces around Pakistan wherever we do the event.”
The idea behind the event is to provide foodies in Lahore with a platform where they can find diverse food options, coming from both professional chefs as well as street vendors. It’s a family-only event for which tickets will be available at the gate. The event was earlier scheduled to take place in February at Jilani Park.
